As of April 7, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom around Matsugamine Pond in Nakago-Ward, Joetsu City, which is known as a famous place for cherry blossoms. This year, you can clearly enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Myoko’s snow-shaped “Haneuma”.

Around the Myoko Sunshine Golf Club in Nakago-Ward, there are rows of Yoshino cherry trees for about 2 km on Prefectural Road 360. A total of about 1,500 cherry trees bloomed on the 31st of last month, about a week earlier than usual, and are now in full bloom.

Sakura is lit up daily from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The best time to see Sakura is until this weekend.
