The exhibition of “Dharmaha Dakakamegai”, a member of “Drift Ice Angel” Clionidae, has started on Saturday, 6th at the Joetsu Aquarium Umigatari. This will be the first exhibition at the museum.
This is “Dharma Hadaka Clione”. Five years ago, in 2016, it was discovered for the first time in 100 years as a member of the snail Clione.
It is only 8 mm long. It’s much smaller than Clionidae’s 4 cm. The wing-like legs and orange body are like Daruma.
Kosuke Sudo, a Umigatari, said, “Creatures that have been researched recently. I want you to know how research has progressed at this exhibition. It’s a winter tradition, so I want you to feel the cute appearance and the depth of the sea.” I’m talking.
According to the story, there are not many examples of the exhibition of “Dharma Hadaka Kamegai” at the aquarium.
In addition, we will hold an exhibition of Clionidae and a panel exhibition introducing 5 types of Clione’s friends.
The exhibition period is one month from February 6th (Sat) to March 7th (Sun).
* Depending on the condition of the creature, the exhibition may be canceled in a hurry.
