Takada Castle Site Park in Joetsu City is one of the most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Niigata Prefecture. The poster for this year’s “The 97th Takada Castle Site Park Cherry Blossom Festival ” held every spring, has been completed.
About 4,000 cherry trees bloom around Takada Castle Site Park Park. At night, the area is brilliantly lit up, inviting visitors to a magical world of cherry blossom viewing.Because of its beauty, Takada is said to be one of the best nighttime cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan. It is also known for attracting more than one million tourists every year.

We made 3,200 A1 posters to be displayed at neighborhood associations and facilities in the city, 500 B1 posters to be displayed at sister cities and tourist facilities in the prefecture, and 400 B3 horizontal posters to be displayed at public transportation facilities.
This year’s cherry blossom fesutival will be held for 16 days from March 26 (Sat) to April 10 (Sun). This year’s event will be held for 16 days from Saturday, March 26 to Sunday, April 10, in line with the early blooming of cherry blossoms in recent years.
The secretariat said it will announce the details of the meeting based on the future infection situation of the new coronavirus.
