A diver in the shape of Santa Claus has appeared at the Joetsu Aquarium Umigatari, and a show to feed fish and penguins has begun.
What appeared in the aquarium was a diver dressed as Santa. When I showed the horse mackerel of food, magellanic penguins gathered one after another. This is one of the Christmas events that Umigatari started on the 4th.
It is held in two places, a penguins pool and a large aquarium.
This is a 4 meter high Christmas tree.
Approximately 100 stuffed magellanic penguins, a symbol of humor, are displayed.
In addition, the colorful fish “Bartlet Antias”, commonly known as “Christmas Antias”, which inhabit Australia, are exhibited in the monthly aquarium.
Umigatari Senior Staff Kotaro Ueno
“The hall is full of Christmas, including Santa divers and trees. Please spend time with your loved ones.”
The Santa Diver feeding show is at 0:30 pm every day at the magellanic penguin pool. The large aquarium is at 1:30 pm on weekdays and 2:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The Christmas event is held until the 25th.
