The 16th Classic Car Meeting, a popular event for classic cars, will be held on Monday, May 3rd at the Fossa Magna Museum Fountain Square in Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture.
The Fossa Magna Museum, a stone museum in Itoigawa, holds large-scale classic car events three times a year in May, September, and November. The “Classic Car Meeting” is one of them, and it is a very popular event with about 5,000 visitors every year.

On the day of the event, classic car owners from all over Japan, including Tokyo, Gunma and Tochigi, will gather and 45 cars will be on display. It’s an irresistible event for car lovers, where you can get up close and personal with the rare classic cars produced before 1974 around the world.
In addition, there will be a mini-concert by the folk duo “Pirate Ship”, which is active in the local city of Itoigawa, and a flea market and stalls will be opened and sold under the title of “Citizen’s Fair”. The contents are (Number of stores scheduled to open on citizens’ fairs: 7 restaurants, 9 stores selling miscellaneous goods, wood products, etc., 16 stores in total).
