The annual “Shikisai (Four Seasons) Art Exhibition” is being held at the Myoko Kogen Messe. The exhibition conveys the charm of Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture with pictures and photographs.
This year’s “Shikisai Art Exhibition” received 46 paintings and 47 photographs of Myoko from all over Japan. At the venue, a total of 113 works are exhibited, including 20 invited works.
Eight winners were selected for each of the painting and photography categories from the submitted works.
Painting category grand prize work
Forest where “owls” hoot
This is the grand prize winner “The forest where “owls” hoot” in the painting category. The full moon illuminates Mt. Myoko, and the fresh snow expresses the purity of the landscape, creating a world where you can hear the owls hooting.
Photo category grand prize work
Breath of Spring
This is the grand prize in the photography category, “Breath of Spring”. This work presents the natural beauty of Japan as represented by Kobusi trees and Mt. Myoko.
The “Shikisai Art Exhibition” is being held at the Myoko Kogen Messe until October 18th.
