In conjunction with the 100th Cherry Blossom Viewing Festival at Takada Joshi Park in Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture, the “Takada Night Cherry Blossom Souvenir Market,” a market where visitors can find the perfect hanami souvenirs, will be held every Saturday and Sunday during the event period under the Gangi at the Kobayashi Kokei Memorial Museum in Takada Joshi Park.

This event was first planned last year by “Crazy Chippa Company,” a mobile store selling original design goods in a bright red car in the Joetsu area, to liven up the cherry blossom viewing party through sakura-inspired souvenirs.

25 stores from not only Joetsu City but also from all over the prefecture will gather to offer a wide variety of goods, from craft stores such as accessories and candles to food and beverages such as bread and sake. FREAK FLEEK, which operates a store where visitors can experience making things in Kashiwazaki City, offers the opportunity to make a cherry blossom water dome.

Crazy Chippa Company will be introducing more cherry blossom-related products than last year, as well as new products.
