Kurohime Kogen Snow Park, located at the foot of Mount Kurohime in Nagano Prefecture, offers four dog-friendly courses on its vast slopes.

Not only can you ski and play with your dog, but there are also trails where you don’t have to wear a leash and a snow dog run, much to the delight of dog lovers.

Incidentally, even those who cannot ski or snowboard can enjoy playing in the snow with their dogs, as sleds are available.

Of course, the facility is equipped with many facilities with dogs in mind.

There is a post at the ticket office for dog poop collected on the slopes, and there are dog toilets in the restrooms located in the Maeyama Plaza.

Of course, there are also restaurants where you can enjoy a meal with your dog.

Food and Cafe BlueStar is a popular local dog café that has been operating at Kurohime Kogen Snow Park since this season.

The recommended menu item is an excellent hamburger made from 100% Shinshu beef.

Food for dogs is also provided, so you can relax with your dog over a meal after having fun to the fullest.

In addition, accommodations will be available this season.

DoggoVillage is directly connected to the slopes. There are two types of cabins and trailer houses.

The cabin building can accommodate up to 11 people and 7 animals.

The rooms are not furnished with sofas or other fabrics so that scratches will not be a problem. The flooring is also wooden.

Bedding in the bedroom is also available for use with your dog.

In addition, in addition to cages, pet sheets and other supplies are available, which are appreciated in case of emergencies.

Trailer houses, on the other hand, can accommodate up to four people and four animals.

Here, treats are available as a welcome service for dogs.

You can bring your own meals or use the restaurant in the facility, but if you make a reservation in advance, you can also enjoy “obanzai,” a dish filled with delicious foods from Shinshu.

Fees for use of the slopes start at 5100 yen for adults (1 Day) and 2100 yen for juniors and dogs (1 Day). Dogs of any breed are welcome. Dogs of all breeds, from small to large, are allowed to play freely.

Kurohime Kogen Snow Park will be open until mid-March (subject to change depending on snow conditions).
