1.Features of slopes and courses

New Greenpia Tsunan, located in Tsunan-machi, Naka-uonuma-gun, Niigata Prefecture, is an all-season resort spread out on the Tsunan Plateau at the foot of Mount Naeba. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities throughout the year in the facilities centering on the resort hotel.

In front of the hotel, north-facing slopes spread out in front of the hotel, where you can enjoy fine powder snow.

Five varied courses are maintained (40% beginner, 30% intermediate, and 30% advanced).

For beginners, the “Stardust Slope,” a 50-meter wide course with a gentle slope with an average slope of 13 degrees, is popular. This course is suitable for families and beginners to enjoy relaxed skiing and basic practice.

For intermediate and advanced skiers, we recommend the Cosmic Slope, which is 1100 meters long, 45 meters wide, and has a maximum slope of 30 degrees. Located at the top of the ski area, you can enjoy the exhilarating feeling of running from gentle slopes to steep slopes in a single bound. Also, from the top of the mountain, there is an unobstructed panoramic view.

In addition, a snow play area (tubes, sleds, snow play equipment) and various activities such as rafting boats and air boards are available on the ski slopes, so that both children and adults can enjoy the slopes to the fullest.

2.Events

Every day during the season, the “Tsunan Lantern Launching Experience” is held, soaring into the snowy night sky.

In addition, during the year-end and New Year’s holidays and every Saturday (with some exceptions), winter fireworks are launched in conjunction with the lanterns, creating a fantastic winter night sky.

4.Lunch Information

Subaru, a snack bar located on the slopes, offers a wide variety of dishes including ramen. In addition to a variety of ramen, soba, and udon noodles, visitors can enjoy “Tsunanzio Katsu Curry with Magma Sauce” using local brand Tsumari pork, as well as a set meal menu.

In addition, the “Orion” restaurant will be available only during the winter season. The restaurant offers pasta dishes such as “Spaghetti with Meat Sauce” and rice dishes such as curry and tare katsu-don (pork cutlet served on top of rice).
