Togakushi Ski Resort is located approximately 30 minutes by car from the Shinanomachi IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway. Surrounded by the beautiful nature of Nagano Prefecture. It has a variety of courses for skiers and snowboarders of all levels, from beginners to advanced.
From the summit area at an elevation of 1,748 meters, the powerful Togakushi mountain range can be seen directly in front of you.The expansive 360-degree panorama is too beautiful for words. In the distance are the mountains of the Northern Alps. When the weather is nice, places with a view of Mt.(Beginner 30%, Intermediate 40%, Advanced 30%)。
The slopes straddle the foot of Mount Menou and Mount Kenashi, offering a variety of courses that make the most of the terrain.From a kids’ park where children can enjoy the snow, to beginner courses, to advanced courses where the best of the best gather to enjoy the unpressurized snow and bumps, you will never get tired of the unique characteristics of this area.

Each of the four courses at the front of the ski area has its own characteristics and is ideal for practice on bumps, uneven terrain, and flat terrain. On days when there is a good accumulation of snow, you can enjoy the surprisingly light and superb powder snow. Due to the low temperatures, the snow does not melt easily and remains of good quality.
There are gentle courses that are safe for beginners in both skiing and snowboarding, and you can board the lifts immediately. The 360-degree panoramic view of the summit allows even beginners who are a little more accustomed to skiing to ski and enjoy the great outdoors.
Ninja Slope
The very popular beginner course, “Ninja Slope,” has a variety of attractions based on the theme of training. You will naturally learn the movements necessary for skiing and improve your skiing skills while having fun.
The kids’ park is equipped with a 30-meter walkway that moves automatically. After skiing, you can ride on the sidewalks with your skis on.Areas are divided for sledding and skiing, and safety is taken into consideration.

There are two restaurants: the lively restaurant “Charmant Togakushi” and the modern and stylish “Alpine Dining Yanagiran”. In addition to the standard, hearty curry and Togakushi soba noodles, the restaurant offers a wide variety of original menus that use plenty of local ingredients.
Raclette Cheese Lunch
The best dish at Alpine Dining Yanagiran, next to the 6th lift station, is raclette. Excellent dish served with hot cheese. It is a signature menu item that cannot be found at other ski resorts.
