1.Features of slopes and courses

New Greenpia Tsunan, located in Tsunan-cho, Naka-uonuma-gun, Niigata Prefecture, is an all-season resort spread out on the Tsunan Plateau at the foot of Mount Naeba.
A variety of activities can be enjoyed throughout the year in the facilities centered on the resort hotel.

A north-facing slope stretches out in front of the hotel.

Five varied courses are maintained (40% beginner, 30% intermediate, and 30% advanced).

For intermediate and advanced skiers, we recommend the Cosmic Slope, which is 1100 meters long, 45 meters wide, and has a maximum slope of 30 degrees.
Located at the top of the ski area, visitors can enjoy the exhilaration of running from gentle slopes to steep slopes in a single bound.
The summit also offers an unobstructed panoramic view.

For beginners, the Stardust Slope, with a course width of 50 meters and gentle slopes with an average slope of 13 degrees, is popular.
This course is suitable for families and beginners to enjoy relaxed skiing and basic practice.

In addition, a snow play area (tubes, sleds, snow play equipment) and various activities such as rafting boats and air boards are available on the ski slopes, so that both children and adults can enjoy the slopes to the fullest.

2.Events

At New Greenpia Tsunan, the “Tsunan Lantern Launching Experience,” which soars into the snowy night sky, will be held daily until March 31, 2024.

In addition, during the year-end and New Year holidays and every Saturday, the “Lantern and Winter Fireworks Dance” is held, in which winter fireworks are launched in conjunction with the lanterns, allowing visitors to enjoy a fantastic winter night sky.
