Christmas-only events such as an underwater dolphin performance featuring a trainer dressed as Santa Claus have begun at the Joetsu City Aquatic Museum Umigatari in Niigata Prefecture.

In a Christmas-only performance, two dolphins, “Arch” and “Mavis,” perform underwater to Christmas songs with a trainer dressed as Santa Claus.

The highlight is a new technique, the “Dolphin Tree”. The dolphins and trainers are made to look like Christmas trees.
