Umiterasu Nadachi Popular seawater pool opens on July 23rd!

The outdoor seawater pool at the road station “Umiterasu Nadachi” in Nadachi Ward, Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture will open on July 23rd!

Umiterasu Nadate is a tourist facility that combines “eating, relaxing, and playing.”  Located by the sea, the ocean view of the Sea of Japan spreads out in front of you.  Especially in summer, tourists come from not only all over the prefecture, but also from Nagano prefecture.

The highlight of the summer is the two outdoor seawater pools located in the gardens.  It is popular to enjoy swimming, and you can enjoy swimming safely even when the waves are rough.

The period is for one month, from July 23rd (Thu) to August 23rd (Sun).  Hours are 10 AM to 5 PM.

Admission fee
Adults (junior high school students and above): 1,000 yen
Child (elementary school student): 700 yen
Infant (3 years old or older): 500 yen

At Umiterasu Nadachi, the indoor pool with popular sliders is open daily until August 31st!  In addition, there are plenty of accommodation plans, where you can enjoy the local seafood!
