The Sunset Beer Garden, where you can enjoy drinks and foods while enjoying the view of the sunset over the Sea of Japan, will open on July 16 (Thursday) at the hot spring facility “Marine Hotel Hamanasu” in Johamahama, Kakizaki-ku, Niigata Prefecture.

Marine Hotel Hamanasu is a hot spring facility that features an ocean view in all rooms, including an open-air bath with a panoramic view of the Sea of Japan.  The Sunset Beer Garden is the hotel’s annual summer event.  This year, we are taking strict measures to prevent COVID-19.

The dishes are served on individual plates for each person to minimize contact with others.  In addition to skewers of beef, there are dishes that go well with drinks such as edamame and fried food.  Of course, you can drink draft beer, sour, wine and soft drinks.

 

You can enjoy a hearty supply of food and drinks while watching the sunset over the sea.

Open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, reservations are required by 5 pm the day before.  The event will be held until Saturday, August 22nd.  We are closed on Sundays and from August 10th (Mon) to August 15th (Sat).

Also, if you are with a group of more than 20 people, please use the dedicated day (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) for exclusive use of the entire place.  A reservation is required at least three days in advance.

The hotel’s general manager, Mr. Tachibana said, “This is the only beer garden where the sunset can be seen by the sea.  You can spend a fun time within only a short distance of Joetsu.  There are also private days, so please come visit us with your companies and neighborhood associations.”
