New Greenpia Tsunan, located in Tsunan-machi, Naka-uonuma-gun, Niigata Prefecture, is an all-season resort spread out on the Tsunan Plateau at the foot of Mount Naeba.A variety of activities can be enjoyed throughout the year in the facilities centered on the resort hotel.

During the winter season, the slopes are north-facing slopes that can be skied right in front of the hotel.

Five varied courses are maintained (40% beginner, 30% intermediate, and 30% advanced).

For intermediate and advanced skiers, we recommend the Cosmic Slope, which is 1100 meters long, 45 meters wide, and has a maximum slope of 30 degrees.Located at the top of the ski area, visitors can enjoy the exhilaration of running from gentle slopes to steep slopes in a single bound.The summit also offers an unobstructed panoramic view.

For beginners, the Stardust Slope, with a course width of 50 meters and gentle slopes with an average slope of 13 degrees, is popular.It is an ideal place for families and beginners to enjoy relaxed skiing or to practice the basics.

The ski resort also offers a sledding slope for children and various activities such as snow tubing, snow rafting, and air boarding.

At New Greenpia Tsunan, the “Tsunan Lantern Launching Experience,” which soars into the snowy night sky, will be held every day until March 31.In addition, on Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, and every Saturday, the lantern launching event is combined with winter fireworks, allowing visitors to enjoy a fantastic winter night sky.
