At the “Roadside Station Arai” you can enjoy a barbecue on their lawn area.  The Roadside Station is located along National Highway No. 18 in Myoko City, Niigata Prefecture.  In addition to being able to rent a set of tools, advanced reservations for ingredients are also accepted, so you can have a barbecue without any preparation.

You can have a barbecue on the lawn open space on the east side of “Roadside Station Arai” across National Highway No. 18.  The lawn area also serves as an evacuation site for local residents and tourists in the event of a disaster.  It is large enough to temporarily evacuate up to 3,000 people.  In addition to renting a set of barbecue sets, equipment is also sold at the direct sales office, so you can come without any preparation.  However, if you want to reserve ingredients, you need to order them at least 3 days in advance.  You can also bring your own tools and ingredients and simply pay the lot usage fee.
